The wisdom of the ancient

Up on that hill, I experienced the ancient beauty, the connection with the old, the learnings we receive from mother nature. 09.09.2021 what a date! It is believed to be a portal — a way to leave behind old patterns that do not serve us in our current moment.

The air was rejuvenating; the earth was silent; the water called us on that hill to meditate with the fire in our hearts.

It was mid-August when it all started. I arrived in Greece for vacation and due to career changes, I planned to stay longer than usual. I landed in Ikaria (one of my favorite islands, mainly because the island's energy keeps its authenticity). My next stop was Amorgos; I've heard different opinions about the island... Many aspects of our lives require patience and trust. Amorgos challenged me on these two.

How did it challenge me?

The island has the old villages, Tholaria and Lagkada, where people didn't change their behavior and authenticity despite tourism. “Chora” is the opposite. It has shifted into the new island style. I liked the beauty of the old; the authentic has something magical. I am searching for that.

Once I got into the mood of the island, I started making my choices based on it; the old started changing my perspective on how to spend my vacation. As a result, I spend a couple of splendid days on the island!

Lesson learned: To discover the island’s treasures, to find what was suitable for me and to experienced them fully, I had to be patient.

Next stop, Kea, here I am, writing this article with a breathtaking view. The island's ancient history and the new project from my friend Aliki inspiring me to write.

Starting with nature and our connection to her; our fundamentals — The connection with the ancient that we bring to the surface. The majority of us are on a healing journey, which allows us to perceive reality differently; therefore a new system is rising. This system is based on ancient Egyptian wisdom and Greek numerology.

It has been used for centuries to accelerate impact, and we are called to bring it back to life and offer it to tomorrow's businesses, which act as a force for good.

What do I mean?

Companies will continue to incorporate, with high technologies, revenue goals, etc., but isn't the sector of humans a crucial point for growth as well?

Isn't that essential to change the company system from the core and focus more on the humans, how they communicate within a team, the innovative ideas, and the organizational skills they can offer?

Does this look like a new GROWTH model?

Think about that: You meditate every day, do yoga, read development books, do volunteer work, etc.; yes, these all have a positive impact but mostly on yourself, family and friends.

But change comes from the inside and specifically from you and your team.
So how much does it really cost to try something new that derives from the old?

How would it look like if what you learned in your retreat on Sunday, you could apply to your company on Monday morning?

What if a business meeting felt like a ceremony?

Is there any difference between achieving a milestone and having a peak spiritual experience?

What if a business was inspired from nature?

Food for thought!

More come soon, till then, enjoy the seeking!

Love,

Eve
